Saudi Jawazat in response to a follower’s inquiry on its customer service account, about the reason for the high visa fees, pointing out that if an exit and re-entry visa is issued and is not canceled during its validity period for not leaving the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the holder will be fined 1,000 riyals.

Earlier this, The General Directorate of Passports confirmed that it is not possible to convert an exit and return (re-entry) visa into a final exit if the expatriate is outside the Kingdom.

The Jawazat in Saudi Arabia explained that the employer can extend the exit and re entry visa to those outside the Kingdom electronically after paying the fees.

- In response to an employer’s inquiry about the possibility of renewing a worker whose vacation and residence permit has expired, and extending an exit and return visa for him, indicating that if the beneficiary is still on the employer’s record. The “Passport Service” added that, it is possible to renew it for those outside the Kingdom electronically after paying the fees through the “Sadad” service via the “Absher” or “Muqeem” platform for the employer.

- According to Jawazat, steps for canceling the exit re entry visa or final exit for accompanying family members are done by entering into the Absher platform, then choosing services for family members, choosing services, then visas.
