Just a few months ago, Eng. Saleh Al-Jasser, who is both the Minister of Transport and Logistics and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TGA, approved the revised Regulation.

- If an e-hailing Driver cancels 5 rides in a single month, their account would be temporarily suspended,  as per the new regulations. Vehicles that accept reservations made through specific mobile apps are known as "e-hailing vehicles," and they transport people for a fee.

- In order to achieve the objectives of the National Strategy for Transport and Logistics Services, this would help improve the experience of beneficiaries, workers, and investors while also increasing the quality of services provided. It would also streamline procedures related to carrying out activities and encourage investment in this sector.

Some of the most notable changes to the revised Regulation include an easier way for investors to complete certain tasks, a system that allows drivers to see the drop-off location before deciding whether to accept or reject a request, and a measure to combat the increasing trend of drivers canceling trips after accepting them on passenger transportation apps. This measure temporarily halts the driver's activity if he cancels more than five trips in a single month.

- The transporter must also put a system in place to return stolen or misplaced items to their rightful owners or beneficiaries. - In addition to enhancing the experience for beneficiaries, the amendments aimed to clarify the scope of practicing taxi activities, increase compliance rates among licensees through the continuation of electronic linking to the authority-specified system and the provision of the necessary data to this system, and other changes.

- In order to increase the efficiency and quality of the services offered, the TGA is always trying to figure out what problems investors, beneficiaries, and workers in transportation are facing and then comes up with efficient solutions to those problems.
