Saudization of 25% Engineering professions in Private sector, starting 21st July


Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing stated that starting from July 21, 2024, Saudization of 25 percent of engineering jobs in the Private Sector in the Kingdom. The private sector businesses that have five engineers working for them will have to follow this rule.

- These decisions are part of what the two ministries to help Saudi men and women in different parts of the Kingdom to find more interesting and useful jobs.

- The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing said it would work to follow up on and carry out this decision, which will make it easier for more citizens to get jobs. The minister will make sure that it is carried out in a way that fits the needs of the job market and the specialization of engineering jobs. - The ministry also said that businesses in the private sector will be able to use the incentives and support programs offered by the Human Resources and Social Development system to help them hire Saudis. These programs will help with finding and recruiting suitable workers, getting them the training and qualifications they need, and continuing their careers after they have been hired.
