They say that ‘All dreams come true if one has the courage to pursue them.’ And this is the mantra that Vaishali Biyani followed throughout her journey from being a home-maker to a successful entrepreneur.

Her Journey:

The journey of Vaishali Biyani, the owner of Quality Decor Dzines started after her marriage. Breaking the shackles associated with a traditional middle-class household, she pursued her dream to become an entrepreneur. She shook of her initial coyness and a traditional daughter-in-law tag , came to Delhi from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh in 2008 to help out her husband in his recruitment firm. She immediately saw that lot was to be done if she had to keep the company afloat, so she took the reins of the organization and started running it herself.

“At that time, the Indian market was full of startup culture. Startup culture was coming up in the market and it always required few but quality people for their companies. I started doing recruitment for them. It was a challenge, but I love that. I successfully ran that company for about 11, 12 years.” says Vaishali.

Destiny Had Other Plans:

Even when she was running the recruitment company, she knew that it was not the end of her entrepreneurship journey. God had bigger plans for her and she could sense that! One day a novel idea struck her – making products out of scrap. “The idea was just to design, manufacture and sell innovative products to the global market only to earn profits.”

Business For A Cause:

Gradually when she entered this business she realized that it was not a pure business for just profits, but a business for a cause. “Every chair we use, we use at least three to four heavy motorway tires and it’s left for burning it is 13,000 times more toxic than the emissions from the coal fire power plant.” Today Quality Decor Dzines manufactures an exquisite line of eco-friendly outdoor furniture which are highly durable, all weather proof, sturdy and comfortable.

Support From Family:

Vaishali feels for a lady entrepreneur the support from the family is crucial. She feels that she has been lucky in that way. Her family, especially her husband supported and encouraged her to pursue her dreams in making innovative products from waste material. “My biggest support throughout the journey is my life partner, my love, my husband, Rahul. If I’m passionate to do something, he never stopped me to attain that. If I’m creative, he’s calculative. We argue, we fight, but at the end of the day, we the best friends for each other. Apart from him, my family’s support is phenomenal – my parents, my mother in law, my child, my sisters, my brothers, my brother in laws, and are like pillars for me.”
