If you are going to sew you must know all of the Sewing Tools that are necessary for your success.  If you are a beginner this will be extra helpful to you because it will tell you everything you need to prepare you for sewing with a machine and hand sewing.  Read more to find out all of the sewing tools you can’t live without.

1. A High Quality Sewing Machine-  This will provide the maximum efficiency and the best stitch line for your items.
2. Sewing Needles- These are necessary for any sewing project.  Whether you use them to sew, mark a spot, or hole something together they are a crucial part to sewing.  No matter if you are using a sewing machine or hand sewing, sewing needles are very crucial to have.
3. Hand Sewing Needles- helps you to make extra stitches and fix mistakes where needed.
4. The Appropriate Thread- You need thread to make a stitch.  It would be best if you had an extra spindle of thread that’s not in your machine.
5. Measuring Tape-  A measuring tape helps you to measure your fabric to make sure you have the correct amount of fabric.
6. Seam Gauge- Makes sewing a hem a lot easier and it also doubles as a ruler for measuring small amounts.
7. Quality Shears-  Keep sharpening your shears as needed and never use them on anything other then fabric.  A pair of good quality shears will make your sewing experience a lot more enjoyable.
8. Seam Ripper- Helps you to be able to not have to restart your project if you made a mistake.

10. Safety Pins- Safety pins are useful for many things, especially in sewing.  They can hold pieces of fabric together, or mark your spot, plus many more uses.
11.  Bobbins- Bobbins are used in a sewing machine and depending on the type of machine you have depends on how many bobbins you can have in it.  They come in all different colors so make sure you have the appropriate color bobbin for your projects.
12. Pin Cushion- This sewing tool helps to keep all of your pins and needles in one place and keeps them safe, well more like keeping you safe from getting poked.
13. Thimbles-  If you are hand sewing a thimble is necessary so you do not poke yourself with a needle.
14. Buttons- Buttons are a common thing to sew on a piece of fabric or clothing.  You can choose whatever buttons you would like,  they are a handy thing to have around the house also.
15. Sewing Needle Threader- It helps to push the thread to the needle.
