Juice N Power Power Salt E-Liquid Review – A Mixed Bag Of Fruits

Today I’m weighing up the Juice N Power Power Salt range of E-liquids.

Juice N Power have been around the vape scene for quite a few years now. As an E-liquid manufacturer they’ve always remained true to their mission statement.

That is, to deliver the same sensation as smoking while significantly reducing the health risks.

Through continually striving to be the best of the best, this UK based company now has a strong foot hold in over 60 countries around the world.

Here at Ecigclick this isn’t our first rodeo with Juice N Power.

Our late Neil H was the first to look at these guys with the Juice & Power E-liquids review back in 2020. He loved them.

More recently I got the chance to sample the 100ml Fruits range. I had mixed feelings.

.. Really does go to show how Flavour is subjective.

What Can We Expect From the Juice N Power Power Salt Range?

They’ve been specifically formulated for use with MTL devices. A 50VG/50PG juice ratio means they’ll work perfectly with lower powered devices with higher resistance coils ranging from 0.8ohm – 1.2ohm.

As the name suggests, the range is available using salt nicotine to stave off the cravings for a cigarette.

Salt nicotine is an excellent option for those needing higher strengths due to its smooth inhale and swift absorption into the blood stream.

I’ve been supplied the 20mg version but they’re also available in a nicotine salt strength of 10mg.

This makes them ideal for a heavy or moderate smoker respectively.

Juice N Power haven’t left out the DTL (Direct To Lung) sub ohm vaper either.

The full range can be picked up in short fills with enough space in the 120ml bottle for two nicotine shots of choice. The starting ratio of these is 70VG/30PG.

There are a total of ten fruity/beverage style flavours to choose from and a few of these contain a dash of ice for good measure.

Specifications

  • 10ml bottle
  • 10mg / 20mg salt nicotine strength
  • 50VG/50PG
  • TPD Compliant
  • Designed for MTL vaping
  • Made in the UK
  • Child proof cap
  • Tamper evident seal
  • Recyclable bottle

So I’m going to be using the Vaporesso XROS 3 Mini pod kit with 0.8ohm mesh pods to test the range. It’s perfectly suited to the range and offers an awesome MTL vape.

Please note: Flavour is subjective and very much open to individual interpretation. The choice of device used may also impact on the overall vape experience.

Use my thoughts as a rough guide as to what to expect.

Berry Lemonade Ice

JnP Says:

Perfect for a warm summer’s day, give your tongue a treat with this delicious Berry Lemonade e liquid. Get the tingly sensation of freshly poured Lemonade combined with the sweetness and tartness of Forest Berries.

I Say:

This is most definitely a fruity fusion between Raspberry, Blackberry and Lemonade.

I get a soothing cool blast of Ice on the inhale which is quickly followed up on the exhale with a tingling, fizzy effect attached to the beverage content.

The Berries are very easy to pick out despite the fact that they merge and blend quite effectively with the Lemonade.

It’s almost the equivalent of a Fruit Cocktail with fizz – and you could be forgiven for thinking so.

The flavour is on par, not too sharp or sweet but certainly leans towards a beverage style vape.

I like it. The sparkle from the fizz gives it an added layer.

Blue Raspberry Lemonade

JnP Says:

One of the most sensational flavours around that screams of summer, evoking childhood memories of Slushies, Blue Raspberry Lemonade Power is an excellent option. Let the overwhelming fruity flavours wash across your palette for a moreish flavour you’ll want again and again.

I Say:

Not a massive difference to Berry Lemonade Ice as you could imagine. Except there doesn’t seem to be the same level of tingle on the tongue.

That doesn’t make it any less refreshing though and the blend of Lemonade and Raspberry fairly zips along during exhale.

You’ll also get a degree of cooling on the inhale and thankfully that’s not too intense. It builds nicely as a precursor to the flavour explosion ahead.

The Raspberry has just the right amount of sweetness and tartness to keep things lively and the Lemonade (while not as effective as Berry Lemonade Ice) has enough presence to justify its place in this creation.

It doesn’t fall short of the Slushie moniker either and that’s largely due to the cooling agent. Although it’s not so great at replicating the syrupy texture commonly associated.

Great flavour and one I could recommend for the hot Summer months.

Blueberry Pomegranate

JnP Says:

Two of the sweetest flavours combine in the most wonderful way in this Blueberry Pomegranate liquid. The slight suggestion of Pomegranate acidity blends with the uniquely sweet flavour of Blueberry, giving your palette a delightfully charming tickle with every puff.

I Say:

I’m not quite sure what to make of this one.

It comes across as floral in terms of flavour output. The Blueberry content is quite tasty and has enough sheen of its own to perform as a standalone vape.

But I think it’s the Pomegranate that’s giving it that perfume like exhale. I’m not too keen on the resulting after taste.

The Blueberry, although not exactly natural or authentic does pull out the sweeter properties of the vape.

As the description states, there are a few minor acidic notes thrown into the vape pot but there’s no getting away from the scented, floral underbelly.

This is one of those vapes whereby the frosty cold blast adds very little to the overall vaping experience.

It’s not for me, I’m afraid.

Cherry Ice

JnP Says:

The iconic taste of rich and flavourful Cherry is delivered to your taste buds in this liquid, giving you all the luscious juiciness that this fruit offers. Inhale pure Cherry flavour that will set your taste buds tickling, a flavour that has classic notes of sweetness with a hint of sourness.

I Say:

This one comes with plenty of tarty sweetness.

A sweetness that’s delivered on the inhale and tart like qualities on the way out.

I can’t say there’s too much in the way of sourness. So that does take away from what I was expecting from the Cherry.

And the Cherry itself isn’t as bright or as popping as I was hoping for. It’s delivered in subtle measures.

Yet it does somehow seem to balance well enough with the icy cold inhale.

So it’s not too artificial tasting but neither is it as juicy as it could’ve been.

For a straight shot at a simple, single flavour profile, Cherry Ice isn’t too bad but I would’ve preferred it to have been ramped up a little more.

Starfruit Kiwi

JnP Says:

Experience the exotic flavours of both Starfruit and Kiwi combined in this delightful flavoured Power liquid. Other-worldly tastes come across in this ingeniously designed flavour, giving you equal measures of sweetness balanced with the occasional tang of Kiwi fruit.

I Say:

Starfruit. That’s not often a flavour I associate with vaping, so fair play to JnP for including it.

Does it taste unique? Well – not entirely. Unfortunately it’s another one that leaves a nasty after taste.

It does start out quite promising with an icy cold chill to the tonsils followed by a mix of tropical fruits, Orange of which is most discernible.

But after this it seems to give off an Antiseptic vibe – for want of a better way of describing.

Whether that’s due to the Kiwi clashing or the use of Koolada, I’m not entirely sure.

All throughout the exhale there’s also a Candy-like presence that really doesn’t fit the bill. I was hoping for a juicier, more succulent exhale than this.

So as I’ve stated, it starts out promising enough with Starfruit Kiwi but quickly morphs into a rather uninspiring, weird tasting mess.

And I can’t rid myself of that Antiseptic aftertaste, mixed with the faintest traces of Kiwi.

Final Review Verdict

As with the 100ml Fruits range, these are something of a mixed bag.

Again it feels at times the concentrates haven’t been implemented to the best of their ability. Cherry Ice is an example.

I’m not knocking Starfruit for what it is, but for the fact that I just don’t like the flavour.

Again, full kudos to JnP for adding something that I would class as a original E-liquid flavour.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with the icy nature of the range either because in instances like Blue Raspberry Ice it’s very welcome as the underlying theme.

Some great blending is achieved with Berry Lemonade Ice but sadly that isn’t the case with all of them. So flavour consistency across the range was something of an issue for me, personally.

So yeah, the Juice N Power Power Salt range is definitely a hit and miss affair for me.
