The Intake RTA By Augvape Previewed

The Augvape Intake Rta is a design collaboration between Augvape and the well respected vape reviewer Mike Vapes.

Mike Vapes has also been involved in the design of other vape devices including the Vandy Vape Iconic RDA and the Wotofo Recurve. 

So the Intake is a 24mm single coil RTA with apparently a “Super easy to build” deck. There are 2 posts with open channels to easily put the coil legs into.

There are various capacity options – both included in the kit, the bubble glass is 4.2ml capacity and the standard straight glass is 2.5ml.

This is marketed as a “Leak proof” design. The airflow is directed to the bottom of the coils via two tubes.

The airflow comes in at the top but then travels through the tubes in the deck to the underside of the coils.

The top cap can be unscrewed and you refill through the slots in the top of the tank.

The drip tip is an 810 fitting but you do get an adaptor in the kit to be able to use 510 tips on here.

A bottom airflow ring provides adjustment for the airflow.

On the video above Mike does say he was mainly involved in the design of the deck and the airflow and that Augvape took care of the rest.

I do like the open post design – similar to my Kaees Aladdin which is the easiest RDA to build on.
