Lip Service XO
Lip Service XO is the brainchild of MAKEUP ARTIST and Texas native, Billy Mercer. While living in Brooklyn, Billy felt there was a need to take people's usual glam sessions to the next level. How did he do that? By taking them from a salon to the comfort of their very own home. So, he packed his bags (and dogs) and headed back home to Austin in 2014 to launch a beauty concierge service. After coming in with a bang and winning "Best of AUSTIN" awards, it was time to take things to the next level once again.

Modern Redux
Modern Redux traces its origins back to Redux Vintage, a shop the owner opened in 1992 when they left their job in retail store design with Barnes & Noble. Starting in a tiny storefront, they soon operated out of multiple locations as a dealer of Mid-20th Century Modern furnishings. Redux Vintage was one of only a handful of outlets in Central Texas for post-war modern furniture and decorative arts at the time. Then, as now, they was dedicated to the preservation, rehabilitation, and re-popularization of great modern design.

PASSPORT
PASSPORT launched in the Spring of 2014 as a vintage shop on Etsy. In the Summer of 2016, Passport Vintage opened its first location in Austin, Texas's East Side (now located in Central South Austin). PASSPORT is constantly inspired by new music, art, and travel. They are not purists in their curation and prefer pieces to evolve and gain new life as they are worn by the people they are discovered by. They focus on 60s through 90s styles and aren't afraid to modify pieces to fit modern needs. It's better to modify jeans to fit today's aesthetics and get them sold, therefore recycling the denim, than to preserve it and leave it unworn. There are definitely special pairs that ought to be preserved, but for the bulk of denim, their focus is to give them new life!

The designs and inspiration for this line all come from designer Shira McManus. Completely self-taught, jewelry design has always been second nature to Shira, who has been designing and creating jewelry since she was sixteen. Now living in Austin, TX, with her hubby and babies Luna and Bear, her home serves as a constant creative influence on her ever-evolving designs. Owner Melanie Clapp is a native Texan that found her way back to Austin after many years in Los Angeles. Melanie has been a designer since the mid 90's. She started in the clothing and jewelry business with accounts such as Urban Outfitters and Warner Bros. Retail. She then found her passion was in home remodeling and interiors in Los Angeles, Nashville, and Austin. Her interiors have been recognized by AIA Austin and Tribeza Interior Design tour. Side Street Home is a long time in the making and has found it's home in a small old Texas building on a quaint street off of Lake Austin Blvd. in Austin, Texas.
