The very first time you came up with an interesting post on Mylot and there are tons of members responding to your post. Oh boy, that means good earnings and of course a chance to show off your superb writing skills. Anyway the discussion is really taking off and along comes this mylotter who responds with a reply that has absolutely nothing to do with the discussion. What the heck is going on? It's sorta like the teacher who screeches the chalkboard to get students attention. Most of the time but not always, it's going to be a new member (less than 50 posts).

This person is spamming and that is not allowed on Mylot. Nowadays spammers are very clever. They may even throw in a few appropriate words so it appears they are talking about the subject matter. The best thing to do when this happens. In my opinion, is nothing. They are waiting for you to ask more questions so they can push their product or website. Don't waste your time with spammers. If they are rude or persistent in any way, this statement does wonders: MYLOT DOES NOT TOLERATE SPAMMERS!
