According to the company, the game is currently available in 65 languages, and recorded for the 35 million people per month all over the world — there are more than 100 million hands played on a daily basis.

Initially set up as a Windows Solitaire, Patience appeared in Windows 3.0 in 1990. In addition to providing amusement, the game was to help users of time to deal with the mouse, a device that, for many people, it was still a novelty.

The game turned into a tradition. Patience it was part of the basic software for all versions of Windows for more than two decades, to the delight of those who expect to take half an evening to “get online” in the age of dial-up connections, or that of the employee who made the game, for example, that they were working on it.

Patience just faced a big change in 2012, with the launch of Windows 8, and while the game has some new features (including support for the ad and came to be called the Microsoft Solitaire Collection. At the same time, the game is no longer native to Windows, even though it is available as a download until now.
