FBI Reported Serial killer Samuel Little linked to murder in Knoxville

According to the FBI’s report, Little “Samuel Little may be among the most prolific serial killers in U.S. history.” After Little’s recent confession, the FBI has been working to find evidence. FBI working with Department of Justice, the Texas Rangers and state and local agencies to match up Little’s confessions.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) — The FBI released a report linking Samuel Little, a man already in a Texas prison for the murders of three women, to a possible killing in Knoxville.

Seventy Nine years old Samuel Little, has recently confessed to the murders of 90 women. In 2014, he was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole for strangling three women in the 1980s.

According to the FBI’s report, Little “Samuel Little may be among the most horrific serial killers in U.S. history.” After Little’s recent confession, the FBI has been working to find evidence. FBI working with Department of Justice, the Texas Rangers and state and local agencies to match up Little’s confessions.

Little accepted to many murders, and has been linked to two killings that arise in Tennessee, including one that he claims occurred in Knoxville. According to the FBI report, Little confessed to killing an unknown black woman in Knoxville in 1975. There are 25 peoples in Little’s victim list. The report also claims that Little confessed to the killing of another black woman in Tennessee. The report lists her as being 27 to 30 years old. Little confessed he dumped her body in the Mississippi River on the Arkansas side.

According to the FBI report, Samuel “chose to kill marginalized and vulnerable women who were often involved in prostitution and addicted to drugs. Their bodies sometimes went unidentified after death”

The FBI report also says that Samuel also killed using methods that weren’t obvious. He usually “stunned or knocked out his victims with powerful punches and then suffocate them.” With no obvious bullet or stab wounds, many of his murders were apply to drug overdoses, accidents or natural causes.

According to the FBI report, Samuel is in poor health and will likely stay in Texas in prison until his death. “The goal now is to identify victims and provide closure and justice in pending cases.”
