Welcome to a beginner’s guide on how to get stronger in Juggernaut Wars. Here are some tips and tricks on how to progress further into the game, increasing your squad’s overall power and leveling your heroes fast in the game.

Do the Campaign first

Once you finish with the tutorial, do the campaign stages as far as you can (Campaign). This is where you will obtain squad EXP, hero EXP, Gold, and equipment. As you level up, you will be able to unlock more features in the game.

When you select a stage, you will be able to see the level of all enemies of each stage and your team’s overall power. You will also be able to choose your heroes for battle (maximum of 5 heroes). The higher your team’s overall power, the easier the difficulty of the stage. Make sure to also complete each stage with 3 stars (By not letting any of your heroes die). This will enable the auto-battle option where the game will complete that stage for you without going through the entire battle (Great for farming).

How do I switch between my heroes in a squad?

When you select a stage, tap the ‘Switch’ button and select the heroes above to add or remove from the squad.

Set your battles to Auto Mode

After completing a few stages you will be able to set the battle to ‘Auto Mode’ (Tap the ‘Auto’ button at the bottom left). I highly recommend doing so as there is not much strategy unless you want to set your heroes’ skills manually. Setting the battle to ‘Auto Mode’ will automatically activate your heroes’ skills and your spells randomly once they are available. However, it is best to play manually in tougher stages or PvP as you can gain full control of using your spells and heroes’ skills.

Obtaining new heroes

There are multiple ways to obtain new heroes. From the Campaign, there are some stages that have a hero icon above it. Completing that stage will unlock a new hero. You can also do them again for Hero Soul Stones. Once you have enough hero soul stones and Gold, you can unlock that hero.

There is also another way to obtain heroes which is from the Chest (Main Menu->Chest). This is where you can spend your Gold or Sapphires to obtain heroes/hero soul stones. I highly recommend saving your Sapphires until you have about 4500 to open the x10 Precious Chest (Tap the middle chest->Open x10) (10% discount). This will increase the chances of obtaining a legendary hero. Every 24 hours, you will be able to open a normal chest for free (Tap the left chest) (Up to 5 times) so make sure to do so for free items and hero soul stones.

Reroll Guide

This reroll guide is suitable for F2P players who want to obtain a certain hero from the Precious Chest. It is advisable not to reroll as this proceed would:

• Lose VIP status and benefits on this account
• Resets arena rank (fewer benefits such as Gold, Sapphires, tokens and experience potions)
• Lose all Facebook gifts from friends waiting for the next day

But if you want to, here are the steps to take when rerolling your account

• From the Main Menu, go to ‘Settings’
• Go to ‘Authorization->Start a new game (Tap ‘Start’)->Continue
• Create a new account and complete the tutorial
• Farm Sapphires until you can spend them at the Precious Chest
• If you do not obtain the hero you want, go back to step 1

Upgrading heroes

There are a ton of ways to upgrade your heroes to increase their power (Main Menu->Heroes->Select a hero):

Leveling up heroes

Other than using them in the Campaign, you can use Experience potions to increase a hero’s level (Tap the green ‘+’ icon beside the hero’s current level). There are 4 different types of potions with each one gives a certain amount of hero EXP. One thing to note is that you can only level up heroes up to your current squad level. Experience potions can be obtained from Chests and the Caves.

Hero equipment

Each hero will have 6 equipment slots to equip. Some of the equipment you can either equip (Tap the ‘Equip All’ button) or have to be assembled first (Tap the ‘!’ icon with the ‘collect’ shown below->Assemble) before you can equip. To know how to obtain a certain gear, tap the ‘!’ icon with the ‘seek’ shown below. This will show you which campaign stages that the equipment will drop. Equipping a piece of equipment will increase certain stats to your hero. Once you equipped all 6 slots, you can tap on the ‘Promote’ button to increase all your hero stats and gear rank. This is where you will have to start over and equip the new 6 slots before you can promote that hero again.

For equipment with Green rarity and above (Blue and Purple), you can Enchant that piece of equipment to increase its stats even further. To do so, tap the equipment with the color Green, Blue, Purple)->Select the equipment you want to use as Enchant materials->Enchant).

Hero Evolve

Once a hero has the required number of soul stones, you can evolve them to increase its power and stats greatly (Tap ‘Evolve’). Soul stones can be obtained mainly from the Campaign and Chests.

Leveling hero skills

All heroes will have 3 different skills (Starts off with 1). To unlock the other 2 skills, your character must reach the required gear rank (Green and Blue). You can use skill points and Gold to upgrade a hero’s skill (Tap on the green ‘+’ icon beside the skill description to upgrade). 1 skill point will recharge every 5 mins. You can also watch a video ad (Up to 3 times daily) to restore 10 more skill points (Tap the ‘Buy’ button->View).

Check your inventory

You can also check your inventory to see all the items you have obtained (Main Menu->Inventory). Make sure to open all the chests from the ‘Usable’ tab for various items. Do not sell any of your gear as you will not obtain a lot of Gold from it and you can use them to Enchant your equipment instead.

Invite and send gifts to your friends

Always add and accept as many friends as possible (Main Menu->Friends->Connect). This is because you can send/receive more gifts to/from your friends to obtain friendship points. These points can be used at the Friends Shop for you to purchase equipment and hero soul stones. However, this feature can only be used through Facebook so you will have to add other friends from there.

Join a Clan

The Guild feature will be unlocked at level 20. If you have not done so, I would suggest joining a Clan as soon as you can (Main Menu->Clan Castle). There are various Clan features available such as:

• Wheel of Fortune – This is where you can use Clan Currency to spin for various items.
• Store – This is where you can spend your Clan Currency for hero soul stones and high rarity equipment.
• Treasury – You can donate Gold for Clan Currency.
• Battle Cave – This is where you can join with other Clan members to fight special bosses for rewards.

Do the other modes

Make sure to check out and do the other modes other than the Campaign for various items. Here are the different modes I recommend doing daily.

Portal

• Trial – This is where you can defeat specific enemies for equipment. Heroes with the ‘best’ icon will deal more damage to enemies.
• The Trial of Death – Defeat as many enemies as possible for Trial of Death currency. These can be exchanged at the store for hero soul stones and equipment.

Arena

This is where you can battle against other players to climb up in the rankings and obtain Arena Tokens. These Arena Tokens can be used to purchase hero soul stones and equipment from the Store. You can also change your defense team by tapping the ‘Change’ button.

Caves

This is where deploy your squad to mine Gold or Experience potions (Caves->Bottomless Pits/Tantalum Cave->Available squads). Usually the higher the level of your heroes deployed, the more Gold and Experience potions you will obtain. You can also search and steal Gold/Experience from other players (Tap the icon below ‘Attempts Available’->Select the squad to attack).

The Store is where you can purchase different resources like Experience potions, hero soul stones, equipment and many more using different currencies. There is also a chance for a special shop to open (After playing Campaign stages a couple of times) which will sell special items at a discounted price.

Complete the Quests and Events

Make sure to complete as many Quests as possible as you will obtain tons of rewards and also gain lots of squad EXP which you will be able to level up your squad much faster (Main Menu->Missions->Quests). As for Events, do check them out as some of them allows you to obtain special items, access to event maps, or bonus drops during a time period from the Campaign. On a side note, there is a lady with the play movie icon which you can tap on it to watch a video ad for free Sapphires.

Becoming P2W

If you are going to spend a lot of time in this game and want to accelerate your progress much faster than the rest, it is best to recharge Sapphires using real money (sucks to be F2P). The game does reward you a lot if you recharge Sapphires for the first time and the more money you spend on Sapphires, the greater the VIP rewards/unlocks that you will get.
