Bluedio TN2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphone Review

Welcome to our latest Bluedio TN2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphone review. This headphone is made by the Bluedio company which mainly produces wireless audio products for more than 10 years. Their products include Bluetooth headphones, earphones/ear-buds, speakers, etc. Bluedio has also obtained certificates from both domestic and foreign countries.

Their aim was to strive for practicability and quality for their products. So I bought 1 of their bluetooth headphone from their online store just to test it out. Will this product perform better than other Bluetooth headphones that are sold in the market? Let us look at one of their most popular wireless Bluetooth headphones that are sold to the public – Read On!

First Impressions

The Bluedio TN2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphone does come with a very nice box which is covered nicely. This is pretty assuring to see as the company knows how to package it very well. Here are the items that came out with:

  • The wireless headphone itself.
  • A long USB cable which is used to charge the wireless headphone.
  • A user manual that is written in more than 9 languages including English. It contains the headphone overview with a diagram, the specifications and operating instructions on how to use the wireless headphone.
  • 2 additional eartips in case you want to replace the current eartips that is attached to the wireless headphone.

The Wireless Headphone does not come with a warranty which means that if the wireless headphone that you have received has issues, there is no way to get some sort of a replacement. You will have to contact their support which is shown on the manual and hopefully they might get a replacement for you. So let us take a look at the wireless headphone itself.

Design and Sound

The earbuds itself actually looks a bit bigger than most headphones out there. As for the eartips, the shape is oval which is not as common as the circle shape that many headphones use. This makes it a bit difficult to replace the eartips due to its shape. But as I was wearing it, I do not feel any discomfort inside my ears after a while.

The wireless headphone is designed with a ‘U’ shape which allows you to wear it around your neck similar to a necklace. To my surprise, it actually feels kinda light. This is great for people who are doing exercise activities like running or jogging. They do not have to worry about long wires that keep dangling around from wired headphones.

As for the sound, it sounds pretty decent. Most of the music that I have played using this headphone came across equally clearly without any issues. There is also an effective level of noise isolation which you are able to listen to music in a crowded public area. The frequency response for this wireless headphone is between 10Hz to 20kHz. This means that this audio is almost surprisingly capable across both high and low frequencies.

General Functions

The wireless headphone contains buttons which serve its own functions.

  • MF button which is used to turn on/off the wireless headphone, pause/resume the music or answering/rejecting a phone call.
  • Volume – and Volume + buttons which are to increase or decrease the volume. They can also be used to skip to the next or previous song.
  • A microphone which is used to calling/answering phone calls.
  • An LED indicator which shows either blue or red (More on that later).
  • An ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) switch which generates “anti-noise” that mirrors and cancels the ambient noise.

Since the box comes with the USB cable, there is a USB slot on the wireless headphone that you can connect to charge your wireless headphone. The time it takes to charge this wireless headphone fully is about 1.5 hours. I personally think it takes too long to charge fully. But it can be used up to 12 hours which is a long time compared to phones. The wireless headphone cannot be turned on if its charging which is a bummer so you kinda have to wait for it to fully charge before you can use.

You can also change the language by pressing the MF button and the Volume – button once simultaneously to select up to 4 different languages (Chinese/English/French/Spanish). I do feel, however, changing the language is not really needed as you can read the user manual instead on how to use this wireless headphone.

All of the functions I have tested so far do not have any major issues. However, there is a delay whenever I adjust the volume. Not very sure what causes this so be careful when you adjust the volume.

Setting up

Setting up this wireless headphone to your phone is pretty easy as it uses the Bluetooth function to connect your phone. To do so, press and hold the MF button until the LED indicator shows blue or you hear “Power On”. Then go to your phone and on your Bluetooth function. You will see a device called “T energy”. That is the wireless headphone that you have to connect. So it is pretty straight forward on how to connect to your phone. It can also be used on your PC as long your PC has the Bluetooth feature available. Turning the wireless headphone off is also pretty easy as well.

Now that we are done with the review, here are the technical specifications… For you guys who want some accurate measurements and stuff.

Verdict

This wireless headphone overall is pretty affordable considering it categorizes as a budget headphone. Would I suggest getting this wireless headphone to anyone? At a price of about $21, I would say definitely yes if you are on a budget and needs a decent wireless headphone. Since wireless headphones are on the rise, the Bluedio TN2 Wireless Bluetooth Headphone, if you ignore its flaws. The packaging is great and it is convenient to use as well.
