Welcome to the dummies guide on how to get better at Klondike Adventures. Here are some tips and tricks on how to progress further into the game, obtaining more resources and some basic strategies on unlocking new features in the game.

Introduction

Klondike Adventures is a city-building game where you will get to build and manage your very own city. You will also be able to start your own farm by producing crops or by taking care of animals. There are multiple locations where you can explore and obtain more resources.

How do I obtain more Energy?

In this game, collecting resources will require Energy and you will run out of Energy pretty quickly later on in the game. You will gain 1 Energy for every 1.5 min. But there are other ways where you can obtain even more Energy without waiting. The first way is to look for boxes. They can be found anywhere in your city or in other locations. These boxes are usually hidden behind rocks or bushes so try and keep an eye out while you are collecting resources. Tap on those boxes to collect energy and other special resources. You can also look for small bags for more Energy.

The second way is by using the Furnace. Make sure to build the Furnace if you have not done so (Market->Furnace). This is where you can drag specific resources into the Furnace to obtain Energy. There are 3 bars you can fill, each gives you 15 Energy each and will reset after 5 mins. These resources can be obtained by:

• Plum – Can be obtained for cutting out grass or bushes
• Chanterelle – Can be found in Chanterelles, grass or bushes
• Apple – Can be obtained for cutting out grass or bushes
• Honey – Can be obtained in expedition locations or for completing tasks

Complete tasks

Prioritize your time to Complete the tasks first. You will given various tasks which consist of gathering resources, build a certain building or unlocking a certain area. The more tasks you complete, the more Energy and coins you will be rewarded. You will be able to unlock more buildings and other items. As for unlocking certain areas, you will have to clear obstacles beside the clouds to unlock a new area.

As for unlocking a new location, you will have to complete all the remaining tasks to do so. Once done, you can choose to go to the new location where you will be given new tasks for you to complete. Take note however once you have moved to the new location, the previous location will be closed forever in 24 hours.

Do not focus on clearing big obstacles first

When you tap on any of the obstacles, you will see the number of Energy required to clear. Some require low Energy (Small obstacles) while others require high Energy (Bigger obstacles). Avoid clearing those big obstacles for now until you leveled up. This is when you can use the bonus Energy to clear out those bigger obstacles.

On a side note, you can tap and hold an obstacle to see what are the resources that you will be obtained if you clear them. Use this to help manage your Energy wisely to complete tasks.

Claim your task rewards once you used up your Energy

When you complete a task, you will not automatically receive the rewards. This is where you will have to manually claim your rewards. If you still have tons of Energy or if you are about to log off, spend your Energy first then claim your rewards. This is where you will not end up with wasting any of the Energy rewards.

If you want, however, you can hoard your task rewards until you have enough Energy to clear out a big obstacle. That is when you can claim all the rewards which are enough for you to clear out the obstacle.

Complete Orders

Once you have run out of Energy, you can use your time to complete orders at the Order Board. This is where you will have to obtain resources mainly from crops and animal resources like milk or eggs. Completing an order rewards you with EXP, Coins and even an item. So always make sure to grow your crops and feed the animals to collect their resources. These orders are limited each day so make sure to complete all of them.

Sell your unwanted resources

As you progress further into the game, you will realize that you will always be running out of coins due to upgrade costs and the price to build new buildings. Once you have finished completing the orders, you can go to your storage. Check what items or resources that you do not need and sell them for coins.

One thing to note is that if you do not feed your animals, they will be turned into gold statues which you can actually sell them for coins. I would say however use them as a last resort because you will have to pay coins to buy new animals. When you reached level 7, you can build a Sweet Shop building which you can play a mini-game for additional coins and Energy.

Trade your items with the Trader

If you look around your Town or any of the locations, you will see a man that has a speech ‘!’ bubble icon above. That is the trader himself. This is where you will have to collect resources required by the trader to exchange for coins. There is also a special offer which rewards you with an additional item if you exchanged that item. Once you have successfully completed all of the trades, you will be rewarded with EXP and Energy.
