Parenthood, family life and work can certainly take its toll on our health and well-being, and former Australian netballer Laura Geitz understands the struggles of a busy schedule more than most.
After a remarkable 10-year career playing netball on an international level, including representing Australia as team captain at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, Laura took a break from the sport with the arrival of her son, Barney, last year.
Now she’s returned to the workforce – this time away from the courts – and Laura and her husband Mark Gilbride have prioritised a good night’s Sleep
to help them settle in after a long day.
“I know firsthand the importance of a good night's sleep, but one thing I have been guilty of is not updating our mattress for years. Since sleeping on my new Sealy I realise the comfort and restful sleep that we have been depriving ourselves of. My back pain during the night and upon waking has magically disappeared.
I go to bed feeling confident that I am going to have a restful night's sleep, knowing that I will be ready to tackle the next day, whether it be running around after Barney or heading off to work.
My only regret about the Sealy Posturepedic is not sleeping on one sooner!”
