•11-22-21, 10:08 PM to 11:01 PM, 1100 block of Fair Oaks (Vons). Suspects take loss and leave store without paying. SUSPECTS ARRESTED: S1Male, Black, 18 years, Los Angeles. S2Male, Black, 20 years, Hawthorne. LOSS: Medication (recovered).

• 11-23-21, 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, Adelaine/Mission. ’09 Toyota Prius. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

• 11-23-21, 9:42 AM to 9:47 AM, 1000 block of Sycamore. ’08 Dodge Dakota. Suspects take loss from victim’s unlocked vehicle. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: S1Male, 5’10’’, 180 lbs., wearing a red baseball cap, face mask, black basketball short with a white stripe, black jacket, white shoes. S2Male, 5’10’’, 200 lbs., wearing a black baseball cap, face mask, black jacket, grey pants, dark colored shoes. SUSPECT VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: Silver sedan. LOSS: Gardening tools.

• 11-24-21, 12:00 AM to 11-29-21, 10:00 AM, 1900 block of Fremont. ’16 Ford E450. Suspect(s) cut and remove loss from victim’s vehicle. LOSS: Catalytic converter.

FRAUD

• 11-23-21, 9:52 AM to 10:13 AM. Victim downloads a cryptocurrency investment app and deposits money. Victim realizes that the app is fraudulent and contacts customer service to withdraw the invested money. Victim is notified that a percentage of the profits must be paid prior to withdrawal.

• 10-5-21, 12:00 AM, to 10-6-21, 11:59 PM, 900 block of Fair Oaks (Bank of America). Suspect(s) use a fraudulent debit card to make several unauthorized withdrawals.

IDENTITY THEFT

•11-26-21, 3:00 PM to 11-27-21, 5:30 AM, 1100 block of Oxley. ’07 Toyota Sienna.

• 11-26-21, 6:00 PM to 11-27-21, 9:37 AM, 800 block of Magnolia (attempt). ’05 GMC Yukon. Suspect(s) puncture door lock and tamper with ignition but fail to start vehicle.

• 11-15-21, 12:00 AM to 11-29-21, 7:30 PM, 600 block of Orange Grove (attempt). ’03 Chevrolet Tahoe. Suspect(s) puncture door lock and tamper with ignition but fail to start vehicle.

COMMERCIAL BURGLARY

• 11-26-21, 3:20 AM to 3:31 AM, 900 block of Mission (Retreat). Suspect gains entry into business by smashing front door window with a rock. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, wearing a two tone colored jacket, dark baseball cap, dark pants, dark shoes, and face mask. LOSS: Jewelry, miscellaneous items.

• 11-27-21, 3:07 AM to 3:48 AM, 1500 block of Mission (Camille DePedrini Boutique). Suspect(s) gain entry into business by smashing front door window. LOSS: Jewelry.

• 11-24-21, 6:00 PM to 11-27-21, 6:37 AM, 400 block of Fair Oaks (Tinzee Nail Salon). Suspect(s) gain entry into business by smashing front door window. LOSS: Bags, receipts, U.S. currency.

POSSESSION OF PARAPHERNALIA

11-26-21, 6:59 PM to 7:11 PM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks. Officer stops suspect for a traffic violation and finds suspect to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, White, 50 years, South Pasadena.

RECORDING INFO MAGNETIC STRIP

11-24-21, 8:30 AM to 11-26-21, 8:40 AM, 800 block of Fair Oaks (Comerica Bank). Suspect(s) tamper with ATM and install a card skimmer.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

• 11-19-21, 6:45 PM to 8:51 PM, 1200 block of Brunswick. Suspect gains entry into victim’s residence by smashing rear glass door. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male. LOSS: Unknown.

• 11-19-21, 8:10 PM to 8:51 PM, 300 block of Grand. Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s residence by smashing rear glass door. LOSS: Unknown.

EXTORTION

12-1-20, 12:00 AM to 11-17-21, 2:05 PM, 1700 block of Oxley. Suspect and victim are acquaintances. Suspect threatens to harm victim and victim’s friend unless victim pays suspect.
