How To Add Custom Robots.txt File in Blogger?


Custom robots.txt is a code which you add in the blogger. Using this, you are telling the Search engines which webpages you are wanting to show to search results.

  1. Open blogger.com
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Click on Search Preferences
  4. Click edit in front of Custom robot.txt
  5. Click yes to enable it.
  6. Paste the following code. (change url with your blog url)

User-agent: Mediapartners-Google

Disallow:

User-agent: *

Disallow: /search

Allow: /

Sitemap: http://jekeshkumaroadtutorials.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=UPDATED
