It’s that time of the year when there’s a nip in the air and a starry night to be enjoyed. With that in mind, Hyatt Place Gurgaon has launched its al fresco Restaurant ‘TONIQ’. The pop-up restaurant was launched on 4 November and its doors are now open for all to experience.
Being an outdoor restaurant, its energy is one that is soothing, relaxing and reflective of a place to mingle and unwind with friends and family. A perfect place to destress after a hectic day at work. Its open ambience adds to the charm of being able to indulge in good times under the night sky.
At TONIQ, the hearty menu consists of a unique blend of grills, quick bites and salads that will enthral your taste buds especially when paired with innovative drinks. The interactive food and bar station gives gourmets a chance to learn the tricks behind their favourite foods and drinks from a specialised chef.
“People are always looking for a fun, welcoming and casual environment to unwind in, away from the hustle bustle of everyday life. That is the concept behind this pop-up restaurant. We saw it as an opportunity to drive sustainability efforts and set up the restaurant using available resources in the hotel such as unused drums, paints, old tables, frames etc.”, said Ashish Shome, General Manager.
The menu has been exceptionally curated by the Food & Beverage Manager, Vikram Singh and Head Chef, Rick Kundu. According to Chef Kundu, “Toniq is created with the purpose of making you “feel alive”. It also reflects this philosophy, serving a select variety of tasty grills & finger foods. In addition there are a few quick eats, for the comfort of the “little kid” in all of us.”
The restaurant’s opening saw a fun-filled evening with live music playing the best of soulful tunes. A rustic sitting area made of low drum seating, grills and a bar made for a perfect setting for people to revel in.
