Method 1: Using Device Manager

This fix applies to following Intel HD Graphics card running machines:

Intel HD Graphics 515, 520, 530 cards (6th Generation), Intel HD Graphics 5500, 6000 cards (5th Generation), Intel Iris Pro Graphics 580 card (6th Generation), Intel Iris Graphics 540, 550 cards (6th Generation), Intel Iris Graphics 6100 card (5th Generation), Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200 card (5th Generation), Intel HD Graphics 4200, 4400, 4600, 5000, 5200 cards (4th Generation), Intel Iris Pro Graphics 5200 card (4th Generation), Intel HD Graphics 5300 card (Intel Core M Processors).

Step 1. You go to this website to download updated display drivers (of same architecture).

Step 2. Next, using WinRAR or 7Zip to extract file download, then you copy the extracted folder to your system root drive>\Windows\Temp.

Step 3. Open Device Manager by pressing Windows Key + X and select Device Manager from the list.

Step 4. In Device Manager, you locate Display Adapter and right click your display driver, click Update Driver Software option.

Step 5. Then you select Browse my computer for driver software option, to go to step 6.

Step 6. Next, you click Let me pick for a list of device drivers on my computer.

Step 7. At this step, you select Have disk button on next screen.

Step 8. When Install from Disk window appears, you click Browse and go to your system root drive>\Windows\Temp folder where you unzipped folder you get at step 2.

Step 9. Inside this folder, you open Graphics sub-folder and select gdlh32.inf (for 32-bit edition) or igdlh64.inf (for 64-bit edition) file then click Open.

Step 10. Now you just click Yes to start installing driver.

Step 11. When the driver has been installed successfully, you can exit Device Manager and restart your computer. After restart and check if the problem is resolved.

Method 2: Using Registry Editor

This is an easy solution help you can fix Application Has Been Blocked From Accessing Graphics Hardware. Using this method, you will increase the value of registry corresponding to Timeout Detection and Recovery so that GPU processing time can be increased. To do that,  you doing the following:

Step 1. First, you open Registry Editor by pressing Windows + R Keys and type regedit in Run dialog box, then hit Enter.

Step 2. In see the left pane of Registry Editor, you go to following registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers

Step 3. In the right pane of GraphicsDrivers key, you create a registry DWORD (32-bit) value named TdrDelay.

Step 4. At this step, you double click on it to set its value data to 8 and click OK to save changes.

Step 5. Now you exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer.
