Remove Hard Water Stains on Windows

We see it way too often, hard water scaling on windows from watering the grass. Home owners with super soaker sprinklers that not only water their yards, they also blast those egress windows in the Basement. You know the windows, the ones that when they were first put in let in so much light you didn't even notice you were in the basement, but now are so stained you can't even see out of them. To make things worse, even if you did want to crouch down in the window well, with the years of dirt and spider webs, you'd have to scrub for months just to see a change in the glass. That's hard water for you. It's hard. Hard work!
But don't stress it, and definitely don't run out to Kenyon Noble for a new set of windows! We've got it handled and for a fraction of the price of just one window. Our team tackles hard water stains every day and we love doing it. It's the number one thing that home owners rave about when they review our work (Like I said, hard water can really make your basement look like a dungeon, so when the we wash windows the home owner really notices it!)...
... So what's our secret? It's really simple. Depending on your windows we've got an arsenal of tricks to get rid of hard water. But basically it involves the following steps:
1. Wet and scrub the window with a mircofiber cloth to loosen away surface dirt.
2. Squigee the window to determine depth and amount of staining.
3. Re-soak window and apply a professional grade hard water stain remover, such as Unger Rub Out (sold here).
4. Scrub with a white pad*.
5. Wet and remove excess stain removing product.
6. Wash and Squigee window for final review.
* Again, these techniques are rough guidelines, depending on your specific glass. Some glass needs more or less scrubbing power,  but generally this works wonders!
