Gateway MX6421 laptop network card drivers

I have all my drivers working just fine. I’m new this this form and new to windows 7. I don’t really trust these sites everytime I go to there sites my antivirus kicks in saying malware found so I’m here looking for help from people who realy know windows 7. I have in the same situation.

I have been looking to fix the sound. Not an IT pro? I have found a couple of places on line that say they have the drivers. Gate tould me that my pci,video,wifi, and ethernet ports would work.

I have tried to download the drivers from the gateway site but not sure which driver are needed. The Gateway drivers should have corrected the problem I would assume yet they did not. I have done what gateway siad could not been done.
