we are busy...

This time of the year, even when the Farmers Markets are ending, we are as busy as during the peak of the markets season.
Let me start on last Sunday.

Sunday: after a crazy Friday (for preparation) and Saturday (3 Farmers Markets), we have our last Pizza Club gathering at the farm.

Pizzas for 60 adults and 15 kiddos!
Friends enjoying the evening.
Daniel Ayers with his music completes the party.
Nothing like a fire pit and s'mores to finish the day!

Monday: jelly and candle making for the coming weekend. Work at the farm.
Sandra will have a whole week of making candles, sachets, teas and more for the weekend.

Sandra's awesome products!

Tuesday: in the morning, The Hawbridge School is coming to visit us! 32 students and 6 adults.
Tour, work and pizzas! In the Afternoon we received a couple to have a tour.

Wednesday: cheese making at the Gerringers.
Thursday: no market today because lots going on at the creamery and farm but some baking in the afternoon for the weekend.

Friday: Sandra is at the Fresh Farm Sale today and tomorrow. Rain? Maybe.
I'm making more jelly, labels and fromage blanc.
Sandra will be back around 5pm and will wrap the hard cheeses, date and put the labels in everything and make a prezi presentation for me to present it in a workshop in Old Salem on Saturday. We will have dinner at 10:30pm and go to sleep at 1am.

Sandra dates, cuts and apply all those labels!

Saturday: Fiamma and Cody, to Cobblestone Farmers Market. Sandra, to Fresh Farm Sale and I went to Old Salem to talk about Artisan Cheesemaking - Honoring and Preserving Old Fashioned Skills. After the workshop, I stopped by to see the kids at Cobblestone and then headed to meet Sandra until the end of the event. Came back around 5 and went to get some oil for the heater.

People love to learn about cheese making!

Today: moving day! We moved our bedroom upstairs to convert the old one into a workroom. In the afternoon we moved the animals to the pasture that we use as parking lot for the events.

Normally our animals just follow us with a bucket of grain...others not so easy.

This is just a compilation of the events in our normal week. I will go in details in my daily blogging.

Thank you for reading it!
