Modern Chic Black White Green Inspiration Vancouver – The Perfect 3

Modern Chic Black White Green Inspiration Vancouver – A talented collective of Vancouver vendors joined together to create an absolutely breathtaking modern stylized shoot. I’m pretty sure you’ll be bookmarking this one for later. Captured by Green Pomme Photography, the shoot showcases a dominant color palette of black, white, and green with hints of charcoal. To this day, this is still one of my favorite color combinations. Don’t even get me started on the centerpieces. Modern brides, eat your hearts out.

Melissa of Green Pomme tells me that they wanted to showcase how brides-to-be can wear one piece of jewelry in three different ways. The beautiful Elsa Corsi brooch found on the black satin sash above was also used on a bouquet and as a hairpiece.

I love how each different flower type is grouped together into monochromatic sections which creates a very modern look.

Now let’s move to the Pewter and Ivory Weddings’ closer look

Did you love yesterday’s Pewter and Ivory’s wedding? Well, here’s your chance to have a closer look at all the oh-so-pretty details by getting wed Event Planning. Photos are by Edmonton photographer JDS Photography. I’ve been dying to see a wedding in pewter, so I hope this palette combination with ivory may inspire you for your own weddings.

Lianna wanted to incorporate traditional elegance but add a modern element that updated the look. Her father’s favorite movie, as is mine, is Father of the Bride. As soon as she said this was his favorite movie, I KNEW we would work well together!

Like in the movie, it was very intimate, lush with florals and lights all around. For a take on this, we focused on flowers and sparkles. Lianna had a pretty clear vision of what she wanted. She wanted classic colors that didn’t follow a trend or fad so we avoided bold colors that would make the overall style look dated. The overall style of the wedding combined traditional elegance with modern elements.

The stationary created by Terlie was elegant and simple which Leyanna appreciated to give it a timeless look.

The Fairmont Hotel Macdonald’s historical chandeliers were dripping in crystals and ivory ribbon. To complement the sparkle of the light, colored jewels were draped around it as well. During the dance, the lights from the stage of the band would hit the crystals on the chandelier to make it sparkle!

We opted out of the traditional chivari chairs and chose elegant ivory chairs instead with rhinestone details on the back. The chairs were fit perfectly, adding a modern touch in a traditional venue. Lianna loved the pin-tucked pewter linens which also gave it a more modern flair but was subtle. The centerpieces gave that lush-ness that she was looking for with hydrangeas and roses which made for a classic pair. The florals were in ivory to make things like the hanging crystals stand out against the glow of the candles.
