1. Red-headed Woodpecker
The red-headed woodpecker is medium size woodpecker species found in temperate North America. The body length ranges between 19 to 25 cm and the average wieght is between 56 to 97 grams. The average lifespan of red-headed woodpeckers is between 9 to 12 years. The adult species are identified as strikingly tri-colored along with a black back and tail and a red head and neck. The underparts are mainly white and the wings are black with white secondary remiges. The dietary habits are omnivorous and feed on insects, seeds, fruits, berries, nuts, and occasionally small rodents and even the eggs of other birds.

The Pileated woodpecker is a large woodpecker species mostly seen in the forests of eastern North America. The body length ranges between 40 to 49 cm and the average weight is 250 to 400 grams. The avarage lifespan of pileated woodpeckers is between 9 to 13 years. One of the black birds with red heads is seen across Canada, the eastern United States, and parts of the Pacific Coast. The primary diet includes fruits, supplemented with seeds, insects, and other invertebrates. The avarage lifespan of a Scarlet-headed blackbird is between 2 to 4 in the wild and 13+ years in captivity.

The Turkey vulture belongs to the New World vultures and they have very few natural predators in the United States, it is protected under the Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918. The body length ranges between 61 to 81 cm in length and the avarice wieght is between 0.8 to 2.3 kilograms. The top speed of a Turkey vulture is upto 48 kilometers per hour and the wingspan is between 160 to 183 cm. The avarage lifespan of a Turkey vulture is upto 16 years. The primary diet includes animals such as small mammals to large grazers.
5. Red-capped Manakin
The red-capped manakin is a bird species that belong to the family Pipridae. They are mostly seen in the region of Belize, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, and Panama. It prefers to drive in tropical or subtropical moist lowland forests. The body length ranges upto 4 in (10 cm) in length and weighs 16 g (0.56 oz). The dietary habits of Red-headed manakin are frugivores and feed exclusively on fruits. The exact lifespan of red-capped manakin is not known, however, evolution says that they might be able to live up to 10 or more years in their habitat.

The red-headed vulture is an Old World vulture mostly seen in the regions of the Indian subcontinent. It is also known as the Asian king vulture, Indian black vulture, or Pondicherry vulture. The vulture species can grow between 76 to 86 cm in length and the avarage weight is between 3.5 to 6.3 kg. The vulture species prefer to thrive in foothills, river valleys, wetlands, and open country regions.

The crimson-headed partridge is a bird species that belong to the family Phasianidae. It was first described by the British ornithologist Richard Bowdler Sharpe in 1879 where it is the only species in the genus Haematortyx. The bird species are endemic to Borneo, where it inhabits the lower montane forests in the northern and central parts of the island. Juveniles are duller and have the crimson restricted to the top of the head. The primary diet consists of berries, insects, and small crustaceans.

The red-headed myzomela is a small honeyeater bird species where body length ranges between 12 centimeters and wingspan is between 17 to 19 centimeters. The bird has a compact body that weighs upto 8 grams. The adult species can be identified with a dark red head, neck, lower back, and rump; the red is glossy and reflects bright light.
The red-headed myzomela is widely distributed on tropical coastlines of Western Australia, the Northern Territory, and Queensland. The feeding habits are arboreal feeding at flowers and among the outer foliage in the crowns of mangroves and other flowering trees. The lifespan of Red-headed myzomela has been found to live up to 7.1 years.

The crimson-crowned flowerpecker is a bird species that belong to the family Dicaeidae (Flowerpeckers). The bird species are endemic to the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. The natural habitat includes tropical or subtropical moist lowland forests and subtropical or tropical moist montane forests. The population of bird species is still unknown in the wild but the assumption is that it is decreasing.

10. Red-headed malimbe
The red-headed malimbe is a species of bird in the family Ploceidae. It is most widely seen in the African tropical rainforest. The male species can be identified from the forehead to the upper back, with spurs creating a half-collar on the neck. The female species can be identified with the forehead being black to the center of the crown. The Juvenile is like the female, with a paler bill and a brown forehead.
