Most liberals believe that conservatives are unwelcoming towards those who don’t fit the 1950s standards of a model citizen. However, in 2023, the term conservatism will be used in a different manner. It seems that they are welcoming their arms to members of the LGBTQ+ community, especially the transgender community.  

According to the 19th News, Republican lawmakers have introduced hundreds of anti-LGBTQ+ bills at the state level since 2020. Many Gay Conservatives, like Woods and Mario Presents, strongly support these lawmakers heading into the 2024 election. They argue that the Republican Party is more LGBTQ+-friendly than critics claim, citing former President Donald Trump’s initial support for LGBTQ+ rights. 

However, some gay conservatives are drawn to the GOP’s stance on transgender children’s issues, such as bans on gender-affirming care. LGBTQ+ advocates deem this perspective extremist, but some gay conservatives believe their numbers are growing, challenging LGBTQ+ community group-think. The influence of gay conservatives in elections remains uncertain.

Conservative transgenders on the rise? 

A recent video done by Jubilee has gained significant traction. The video is in relation to the differences between the conservative transgender folks and the liberal ones. However, for the most part, they are able to agree and disagree with each other. There are some topics where they end up in a heated debate. 

Following that, the growing movement of the LGB community has spread to the transgender community. One of the most prominent conservative trans women out there is Blaire White. She is adamant that non-binary individuals are not transgender as they did not transition from one gender to another. 

Be that as it may, most YouTube comments agree with Blaire White. Furthermore, it seems that her opinions are what most users tend to agree on, as she is accepting and mindful towards others. However, there are some liberal speakers on the panel which social media users are vehemently against, simply on how dismissive they are towards others. 

The key difference between the conservative & liberal trans groups is simple:

One group has a regard for others & one does not.

Users state that the liberal transgenders on the panel were not people who have regards towards others. Following that, users state that it is the contrary for their conservative  counterparts as they appear to be respectful towards other members of society.
