Caring for your Wooden Chopsticks is easy! Here are a few tips to help you keep them in great shape:

You should treat wooden chopsticks the same as you would do if you were adding sticks and twigs to your compost pile.

Upcycling

If you don’t have a compost bin, you may find a way to upcycle chopsticks that are not suitable as utensils. A few creative uses for upcycling them that we’ve found are:

  • As uprights for growing saplings like tomatoes or cucumbers
  • Used to make DIY cloth pegs
  • Use them to unclog drains around the house
  • Stir paint with them
  • Use them as kindling instead of buying firewood
