Podcast Debut with “Energy Central Insights™ Podcast” and Inaugural Episode Featuring Dan Yurman, Nuclear Power Expert

I’ve certainly been falling behind in how often I wish I could be writing up analyses, articles, and blog posts regarding the Energy industry and broader sustainability for the Chester Energy and Policy site. For that, I apologize– though I’ll assure you that silence in this space only reflects that I’ve got far more projects than I know what to do with that I’m working on via other outlets and for organizations and sites I partner with. So while I may be personally frustrated that I can’t publish as much as I want to this site, rest assured it’s ultimately a great sign because it means I have so many opportunities with great partners and clients that require my focus.

Note: a great way to keep up with those non-‘Chester Energy and Policy’ exclusives is through my social media outlets that I post links to pretty constantly: on Twitter @ChesterEnergy and via my personal LinkedIn page.

Among my main partners outside of Chester Energy Policy is Energy Central, where I serve as a Community Manager to help publish content, build an audience, and encourage thought-provoking conversations among professionals working in the utility industry. And I’m thrilled to debut in this space one of the projects with Energy Central that’s been taking up my time recently: Energy Central’s first-ever podcast series: the “Energy Central Insights Podcast.” In this series, we’re taking community members and experts across the Energy Central platform and asking them to dive more deeply into the topics they’ve been writing about for the community, providing another outlet for great insights from the thought leaders in the utility sector.

I invite you to take a listen to the inaugural episode featuring Dan Yurman, a nuclear energy guru, with a career that’s spanned multiple continents over the course of 40 years, with stops at Idaho National Lab, Bechtel, Rockwell Automation, and NASA. In this episode, you’ll hear my personal podcast debut as producer and co-host (though my colleague, Jason Price, gets all the credit for leading the way with the main host and his enviable podcasting voice!).

More information about the podcast series can be found at the Energy Central post about it here: Introducing Energy Central Insights Podcast and Our Inaugural Episode Featuring Dan Yurman

Check that link out for more of what to expect from this podcast, as well as information on how to perhaps secure a spot as a future guest if you’re so inclined!

Additionally, we’re also available on all major podcast platforms, so be sure to subscribe wherever you tend to get your podcasts (and maybe throw us a five-star rating so more people will be able to find us!):
