ITIF’s Center for Data Innovation has filed comments with the Australian Government’s Productivity Commission detailing a variety of challenges and opportunities around public and private sector data collection, sharing, and use. The Center also provided a number of policy recommendations to promote data-driven innovation in Australia, particularly relating to the publication of open government data, the public sector’s own use of data, and the public benefits of private sector data collection and use.
