Hey, folks. So, we've passed the Rubicon on this site. We've done the final migration of posts. This includes over 18,000 posts I've Written over the last 14 years myself, plus another 28,000 written by other front-pages and site members. There were a million comments in the database. It's all been preserved except for some obvious spam that was weeded out. The new site is currently in Beta and we're testing it out. Anything that is posted here from here on out is not going to be preserved. It will go into the ether.

I'm moving as fast as I can so we don't have a big gap between the demise of the old site and the birth of the new one. I could use a small handful of volunteers to help me test out the new site, so if you're interested in helping me and getting a little sneak-peak at the same time, send me an email at the admin address and I'll select the first few people I know and trust. If I only know you by your user name, please make sure to tell me what your user name is.

Feel free to hang around here until the bitter end. Just be advised that I can't preserve anything that happens here anymore.

And don't worry about the lights. When the time comes, I will turn out the lights.
