Whereas, we the Anwang Pians or the members of the Pian Alumni Association, Aklan Chapter, through this Manifesto or Statement of Solidarity with our Bishops, hereby manifests:

That we are one with the CBCP and join in our voice for the voiceless during the Walk for Life;

That we condemn the unabated killing of innocent Filipinos which media has branded as EJKs;

That we are against the proposed imposition of the death penalty as it runs counter to the tenets of the Church; 

That we are hereby expressing our sentiment of solidarity with our brothers in these most important cause of defending man’s basic rights to life and liberty and expression.

That to remain apathetic, passive, and just be silent would be tantamount to a sin of omission.

That St. Pius X, our Patron encourages us through his motto to restore all things in Christ(instaurare omnia in Christo), hence together with you we shall restore peace, justice, respect for human life and all things to CHRIST.

That being Aklanons and ardent devotees of the Child Jesus or Sto. Niño who is the source and giver of life and from whom life comes, we believe that we will prevail.
