He Knows When to Fold 'Em

After a bad night in AC in 2004, a man called SD drove to the Casino Control Commission and had himself Banned from casinos for life.
The CCC contacted casinos in other states, and SD was banned there, too.
The ban has existed since 2001. Gamblers can choose the length of their ban -- naturally, gamblers like several options -- and SD chose lifetime ban instead of one or five years. The form states that the ban is binding and that information will be shared with other casinos.
An hour later, SD regretted his decision. He called the CCC and begged to have his name removed. No dice.
SD's lawyer, Gerard Quinn (who actually represents Harrah's in another silly suit)
calls SD an unlucky guy, not a compulsive gambler. Quinn asked the CCC to let his client play. They said no again. SD may take a chance on an appeal.
