Martial Law In America

What Is Martial Law

The definition of Martial law: Military Government involving the suspension of ordinary law.

Most Americans have never heard of martial law much less imagine what it would be like in the United States of America. The few that are familiar with the term consider it as absurd that it could happen in the US. That it just isn't possible.

If it was to come to fruition, it would mean that the Constitution no longer exists. Along with it, you would lose your Constitutional rights and liberties, including civil rights. In short, the president and the military would take over all law and order leaving us with a totalitarian dictatorship.

They would have every right to go door-to-door and take whatever they need, or want. This includes food, clothes, riches, and yes – your guns. Tyrannical leaders always want to impose martial law in America, but they must do so one brick at a time.

A brick of tyranny is laid every day and Americans are none the wiser. They are too interested in their newest cell phone, the latest release from their favorite pop star, or maybe even the chasing down of Pokemon balls.

Has There Ever Been Martial Law In America

While it is not taught in our school systems, one of the main reasons the Revolutionary War came to be was because of martial law. The British used their military to “police” everyday life in the colonies. This daily threat was the fuel that fired the revolt.

On September 15, 1963, President Abraham Lincoln imposed martial law in America. Again, history books do not bear this fact, but it was all too true. Lincoln didn't much care about freeing the slaves. What he wanted was a centralized government and to use it to control all citizens.

America Under Martial Law

Martial Law has precipitously crept into everyday American life, but few take notice. The words “martial law” will never be used, but it is implemented surreptitiously. Every time you hear the government mention a “state of emergency”, that means they are taking control.

Americans have heard this term many times – by design. Nowadays, there is little concern when it is used. It is the boy cried wolf scenario. A little at a time, your government is taking over your life. Look back to 2005 when hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. A state of emergency was declared and government entities took over.

They ordered evacuations and physically removed Americans from their homes. Government officials suspended the enforcement of many laws and confiscated firearms. They also suspended the sale of alcohol, ammunition, and guns. Yet, the media did not cover these unconstitutional acts. This was martial law disguised as government help.

Republicans And Democrats Like Martial Law

President George W. Bush signed The National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive in 2007. It was signed without one set of Congress's eyes seeing it. This increased the ability of a sitting president to use troops on American soil.

President Obama has hijacked at least 27 police departments. His dream of a Federal police force is growing slowly, so no one is paying attention. Obama has his Attorney General claim racists practices are prevalent and force the department to follow federal guidelines or be sued.

If Hillary Clinton becomes America's 45th president, the country as you know it will disappear. She will appoint three – or possibly four – Supreme Court justices that will lean far left. She would have the right to declare martial law. At this point, the US could never get back to where our forefathers placed it.

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.” - Benjamin Franklin.
