The 2023 Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh Youth Triathlon is July 22nd at the North Park Pool for young athletes ages 7–15! Participants each get a race bag stuffed with fun—including a race t-shirt they can dye at our Tie-Dye Station (extra shirts from previous years are also available to non-registered siblings who want in on the fun)! Athletes and siblings can also "volunteer" on our Habitat Pittsburgh Lego Build—a fun way to pass the time while waiting for race results and hear about the importance of volunteerism.

the youth triathlon is where "fun" meets fundraiser!

Each finisher receives a 2023 Youth Triathlon medal! In addition to event photos, there will also be a Finish Line Photo Stop so each athlete can commemorate their achievement. Following the race we hold an Awards Ceremony where the top 3 boy and girl finishers in each age bracket receive a trophy! And to wrap everything up—a Pizza Party for athletes and volunteers!

want to see the course and ask questions beforehand?

We hold a Pre-Race Informational Meeting at 6:30pm the Friday evening before the race at the North Park Pool. Our Race Director and Habitat Pittsburgh staff will be onsite to review the course with the kids and answer parents' questions. During this meeting we also offer free bike safety checks, courtesy of Pro Bike+Run.
