Springfield Armory announced a new Pistol that genuinely qualifies as a Duty Pistol. Called the Echelon, the new 9mm pistol offers a lot of features including a unique way of mounting a red dot.

I think this gun offers a lot for law enforcement agencies including:

• a universal red dot mounting system that doesn’t need plates
• a fire control unit that allows for different size frame
• true ambidextrous controls
• the best sights on any duty gun
• the famous Adaptive Grip Texture
• 17-round flush fitting magazines and included 20-rounders
