Affordable Glock Armorer Training From AGI!

AGI is a very respected instruction provider firearms maintenance.

The American Gunsmithing Institute (AGI), in partnership with Concealed Nation, is offering an incredible deal on Armorer training for Glock pistols. For only $7 AGI and Concealed Nation are offering a high-quality HD online course in Glock Armorer training. This training will include instruction on the most recent Gen 4 models, and the latest Glock 42 and Glock 43 pistols as well. Typically, this training requires a person to be in law enforcement, military, or an employee of a FFL to receive instruction from a certified Glock representative for Armorer training.

The American Gunsmithing Institute is a well-recognized and highly reputable organization for gunsmithing, armorer, and general firearms maintenance instruction. The BlueSheepdog Crew has examined some of the materials offered by AGI and have found them to be professionally produced, informative, and very detailed. The AGI instruction manuals can be a great resource in maintaining firearms for both professional and personal use.

Concealed Nation is an organization devoted to promoting responsible concealed carry of firearms by both professionals and civilians. The BlueSheepdog Crew are strong supporters of off-duty and civilian concealed carry of firearms. However, we have no affiliation with either AGI or Concealed Nation, and the opinions expressed by either organization are their own and may not reflect the opinions of the BlueSheepdog staff.

Glock Armorer Training

As a Glock certified Armorer for 7 years now, I very much appreciate the simplicity of the Glock Pistol design. Having only (34) parts is not only amazing, but very easy for most armorers to master. Since I am a Department Armorer I am required to re-certify my training through Glock Training. However, the certification is only valid for (3) years, and comes with a $250.00 price tag for the 1-day course. In terms of professional training the price is not unreasonable, and the quality of training I’ve received from Glock instructors has been excellent.

However, not everyone is able to attend a Glock Armorer training course. Glock restricts their training to law enforcement, military, approved security services, and FFL gun dealers. There is valid reasoning behind this from a business and legal liability stand point. At the same time, there are many firearm owners who possess considerable skills and knowledge in firearms mechanics. For these persons, the AGI Glock Armorer course is an excellent opportunity to learn the inner workings of Glock pistols, at an incredibly low price.

Since the training is online, a student must be self-motivated and able to discern instruction without the benefit of asking questions to an instructor. Despite this drawback, the AGI courses of instruction have typically been formatted in a very easy-to-understand delivery method.

Final Thoughts

We highly recommend our readers follow their Department guidelines before attempting to perform any type of maintenance on a firearm. Though the Glock pistols are very simplistic, they do require an expertise to ensure proper function. Even though the AGI courses are very well produced, readers should comply with Departmental requirements before attempting any armorer-level maintenance.

The AGI Glock pistol course being offered through Concealed Nation is a very comprehensive and high quality course. As a stand-alone course the AGI materials are very comprehensive and informative. This course can also be a great addition and enhancement to official Glock certified Armorer’s training. Either way, at $7 it’s hard to go wrong with extra training.
