DUI Lawyers Go Ga-Ga Over Eli Manning but Not Everyone

The New York Giants have beaten the New England Patriots 21-17 to clinch the Super Bowl title. This is the fourth title for the Giants and the second time in a row when quarterback Eli Manning has led them to victory. DUI lawyers are elated, probably more over Manning’s feat than the Giants winning. The first time was in 2008 when Manning’s superb game play foiled the Patriots’ hope of romping home with a victory and making Brady look that much better than he really is.

Eli Manning, an Underrated and Overshadowed Quarterback

DUI lawyers have always felt that Eli Manning is an underrated player. The New York Giants-New England Patriots Super Bowl showdown was a much-anticipated game but as per Google and Yahoo search engine listings, fans of the game had looked up Tom Brady, the Patriots quarterback, more than Manning. In fact, Manning does not even get a mention in the list of elite quarterbacks currently playing—Brady, his brother Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, Tim Tebow, Aaron Rodgers, and Ben Roethlisberger are the main ones. Tebow is popular because of his praying not so much because of his passing acumen. Talent wise, he does not belong in this group.

Peyton is Still Superior

While it is true that Eli Manning is yet to win an MVP, but he is one amongst the only ten quarterbacks in the history of the game who have won the Super Bowl twice. And many viewers of the game and analysts feel that this Super Bowl win is reason enough to induct Manning into the Hall of Fame.

Pathetic Really

Probably no other player in the history of the game has been more scrutinized, criticized, or praised than Manning. But DUI lawyers are marveling at his unfazed manner. They agree wholeheartedly with Jerry Reese, the Giants General Manager when he lauds Manning and says, “He just goes about his business, he’s focused, he’s respectful, he loves to play.” Too bad he is not playing for the Chargers. Eli’s father, Archie Manning, cried his son out of that situation.
