What should I do if I get stopped for a DUI in Ohio

In Ohio, when you get pulled over by the police for suspicion of drinking and driving, the name of the game is not giving the police officers Evidence. You do have to give to them your license and insurance, so do so. If they ask you to exit the vehicle, you must get out because you don’t want to get arrested for obstructing official business. Other than that, since you’ve already identified yourself and you got out of your vehicle, you don’t have to do anything. If they ask you if you’ve been drinking, say, “Officer, before I say or do anything, I want to talk to a lawyer.” If they ask you to do field test, “Officer, before I say or do anything, I want to talk to a lawyer.” If they ask you to do a portable breath test or any test, say, “Officer, before I say or do anything, I want to talk to a lawyer.” He’ll get the gist that you don’t want to give them evidence. You’re going to get arrested, but you would rather get arrested by giving them no evidence than all the evidence they want and need to try to convict you.

This is not child’s play. You need someone that has the knowledge, training, and experience to properly fight and defend you on this case. Let the law offices of Steven R. Adams protect you and keep you from further embarrassment and help keep that treasured job that you worked so long and hard for.
