I realize the American statement spun the issue as being about Nicaraguan democracy, but it's really weird for the U.S. to criticize Nicaragua's Switch from recognizing Taiwan to recognizing China. Nicaragua is just following the Diplomatic path that the U.S. itself did decades ago.
