Uttarakhand assembly election 2017;PM Modi speech at Pithoragarh

The PM Narendra Modi addressed rally in Pithoragarh for the Uttarakhand Assembly Election 2017. Earlier he had addressed the first rally in Shrinagar for the election.


In his first rally at Shrinagar, in which he had held up his own Development record to canvass for votes in the state, the PM Modi promises to transform the state and also to make it one of the India's most vibrant state in terms of economic development. He also critised the ruling CM Harish Rawat and said that corruption had become endemic in the state that left people there unable to make progress.

The PM Modi also given the examples of BJP ruled Chhatisgarh and Jharkhand as well as his own work as reformist role at the Centre to furnish his development. He also slammed the opposition parties for questioning the surgical strikes against the Pakistan across the Line of Control. He indicated that if the Pakistan dared to carry out such strikes again, the government would ensure that the retribution/vengeance would be quick.

The PM Modi has been covering rally as many as possible for the assembly elections which is being held in the 5 states of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Goa and Manipur in an efforts to ensure the BJP victory.

Below are the important point said by PM Modi at Pithoragarh:
- PM Modi said : The people who have looted the country for the last seventy years will have to return everything.

- He said, will not let looters get away easily.

- The governemnt had increasedd the funds being allotted to the armed personnel for the benefit of the personnel and their families, he said in Pithoragarh.

- A few speak about Harda tax, that surprised. Bu why are the development projects stalled? It has badly hit progress of the state, said PM Modi .
