Read the highlights of BJP manifesto for the UP assembly election.

The BJP's national president Amit Shah released the party's Manifesto on Saturday for the UP assembly elections, which is scheduled to held in seven phases starting from 11th February, 2017. The party's senior leaders from the state, including Keshav Prasad Maurya, Yogi Adityanath, Kalraj Mishra and Manoj Sinha were also present.


He claimed that the BJP will form the government in Uttar Pradesh with the two third majority while releasing the manifesto, called "Lok Kalyan Sankalp Patra". He also attacked the SP and BSP and saaid that in the last 15 years the both the parties did not do any thing for the development of the state.

The Amit Shah said the BJP, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, would turn the Uttar Pradesh into a developed state, like the way the party rules the other state.

Highlights of BPJ manifesto :
— The laptops will be given without any bias with free 1 GB data per month.
— Colleges and Universities of the state will have free WiFi.
— The Villages will be connected with the mini-bus services.
— 24x7 electricity will be made available in all the houses.
— The Budelkhand & Poorvanchal development board will be setup under the CM's office supervision.
— Every district to have redressal system to help our trader.
— Education upto XII for boys and Graduation for girls will be free.
— Opinion will be taken from all the women on the triple talaq.
— Ram temple will be built followed by provision in the law.
— The form loans will be waived and the formers will get loans on 0% interest.
— The state will be free from goondaraj and corruption.
— All the criminals, who are out on parole and commiting crimes, will be taken back to jails.
— Every district will have task force to tackle different mafias.
— There will no any interviews and test for hiring the Class III and Class IV employees.
— 90% of the state jobs will be given to the youth of U.P.
— There will be toilets,LPG in every house and Gas pipelines for cities in the next five years.
— Villages will be connected with mini-bus services.
— Every girl child born in poor families will get Rs. 5,000; No age bar for widow pensions.
— The people will be able to use metro at any time with their families.
— Rs.500 crore will be allocated for the Baba Ambedkar fund.
