The last Land Rover Defender has rolled off the production line in Solihull, marking the end of 67 years of English automotive industry. Despite being one of the world's best selling 4x4s with more than 2m Defenders sold, Jaguar Land Rover have had to end production thanks to EU regulations on emissions that the Defender would never meet.
