Mike Taibbi is the closest thing left that acts and walks and talks like a real journalist. He is good. He is righteous. But he is also a little short sighted.

In a Rolling Stones Magazines' article, he analyses the new JOBS Acts that Obama just signed into law. He got it right: it's an amoral disgusting piece of legislature that basically tells anybody from Silicon Valley to repeat the Enron Scenario-- but, this time, to make it bigger.

Unfortunately, what he failed to recognized is that this "bill" is a Republican Baby. So let me get this straight: Republicans control the house, Republicans rejected Obama Job legislature, Republicans control Congress, Republicans pass their own JOBS bill, Obama is basically paralyzed and could only veto his way through power against the bill- which the Republicans would construe immediately as a unpatriotic treacherous unconstitutional bla bla bla coup d'etat...--- and it's all Obama's fault?

Matt Taibbi is a good journalist with a short memory of how all of this happened. Hope Obama at least got something of value for this piece of pure graft in return.
