Above is the amount Congress makes in Salary per year funded by We the People, that does not include the many perks and benefits they receive also funded by We the People. They have a retirement plan in addition to Social Security where We the People match 5% of what they contribute. Then there is their Annual Allowance funded by We the People, House Members get $900,000 per year to spend on 18 employees and another Quarter of Million per year for expenses. The Senate gets the same privileges funded by We the People but at a higher amount it averages $3.3 Million per Senator. Additionally, we fund their HEALTHCARE which is exempted from Obamacare rules and regulations. They also only work on average about 3 days a week and get more paid time off then is decent.
Despite all of the salary and perks Congress REFUSES to do the will of We the People. They have become rulers as opposed to representatives. They REFUSE to repeal or fix Obamacare which they are exempt from. The very people who fund their lavish healthcare plans cannot afford healthcare themselves and Congress led by Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell & Nancy Peolsi/Chuck Schumer REFUSE to do anything. They only whine, complain, and obstruct because it benefits them and lines their own pockets and those of their K Street Paymasters.
We the People voted for Donald Trump because we wanted lower taxes, we wanted something done about Obamacare, we wanted strong national security, a growing economy, and for government to back off. Yet Congress because they are entrenched swamp dwellers REFUSE to implement Our Agenda.
Every Member of Congress should RESIGN in shame and not get one more cent from We the People. They have shown their true colors and their true allegiance and it is not to We the People. They have lied repeatedly to all of us for years. Their incompetence is no longer acceptable. We the People hold the power to toss them from office but we must be willing to do so. We have the Congress that we have allowed. I say no more, they must all be fired. It is time for We the People to reclaim our country because Congress is driving us over a cliff and they have hit the accelerator.
Time for Representatives not Rulers.
