Stop National Grid Vaporizer In Brooklyn

As a "Plan B" to the Williams Pipeline, National Grid is trying to build Two New Fracked Gas Vaporizers in an Environmental Justice Community in North Brooklyn.

In 2021, we should be Retiring Fossil Fuel Infrastructure and Replacing it with Healthier, Renewable Alternatives for Heating and Cooking like Electrification and Heat Pumps.

Instead, National Grid wants New Gas Vaporizers, right next to 400 Families who live in Public Housing at Cooper Park Houses, and many more in the surrounding Community.

National Grid wants us to Pay for the Vaporizers through a Surcharge on our Monthly Bills!

We came together to Stop the Williams Pipeline and we need to come Together again to stop these Vaporizers.

Because if we don't, our Victory against the Williams Pipeline might better Protect the Rockaways, Coney Island, and Staten Island, but it will mean more Pollution for the Frontline Communities living near National Grid's Greenpoint Facility.

CLICK HERE to sign the Petition calling on Governor Hochul & The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) to Reject National Grid's Permit for Fracked Gas Vaporizers.

The Stop the Williams Pipeline Coalition is organized primarily by Five Local Groups, each of which Works on a range of Projects to Build a Better World:

- Food & Water Action

- Sane Energy Project

- 350Brooklyn

- New York Communities for Change

- Surfrider Foundation/NYC Chapter
