President Biden has Mominated Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzalez, to Run the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency (ICE).

Sheriff Gonzalez, is an Experienced Law Enforcement Official who sharply Criticized Trump’s Racist and Dangerous Immigration Policies.

When Elected Harris County Sheriff in 2016, Gonzalez immediately Canceled a Federal Partnership that Authorized Sheriff’s Deputies to Enforce Immigration Laws, Ending an Agreement that had been in Place since 2008.

ICE was Created in the Aftermath of 9/11, along with the Rush for the Patriot Act.

Once the Senate Confirms Gonzalez, the Agency may Finally get the Oversight it needs to do the Job Right, Protecting Civil Rights, and following the Rule of Law.
