Central New York and Four other Regions of the State are on Track to enter Phase Four of the State’s Reopening Plan on Friday, June 27th.

The other Regions are the: Mohawk Valley, North Country, Finger Lakes, and Southern Tier.

All Five of the Regions began the State’s Phased Reopening Plan in Mid-May after Months of Coronavirus Shutdowns.

Despite Phase Four being the Final Stage of the Restart Plan, certain Businesses will still Not be Allowed to Return.

That includes: Gyms, Movie Theaters, and Mall's interior Stores.

The State is still Studying When and How to Reopen those Facilities.

One Concern about those Businesses is the Possibility that Air Conditioning does Not Sufficiently Clean Indoor Air of the Virus. It’s possible the Systems simply Recirculate the Virus throughout Interior Spaces.

The Questions are: Who will Pay for the Update and what will the Update be.
