NY Bill Permitting Electronic Application for Absentee Ballots

The New York Legislature was in Session this week.

This Legislation will Enable New Yorkers to Apply for Absentee Ballots through an Electronic Application. This would Ensure more New Yorkers are able to Vote and Participate in the Democratic Process despite the Ongoing Pandemic. It also Removes the Requirement that such Application be Signed by the Voter; and Provides for the Repeal of such Provisions upon Expiration.
