The New York Legislature has been discussing the use of the word Independent/Independence in a Political Party Name.

There is the Independence Party and Independent Voters.

Voters who want to Register as an Independent Voter were Registering into the Independence Party. So the State Legislature has been working on Bills to control the names a Political Party use to define themselves.



But the State's Board of Elections, after two Sessions discussing this problem, change the Voter Registration Form for 2019.

But on their Election Results Reports, Independent Voters are defined as BLANKS. I wonder if they will change the Heading in 2019?
