The All Stars Project (ASP) is proud to announce the release of a new Special Video Report entitled “A New Conversation about Poverty.”
The Report features Kathryn Edin, Ph.D., Professor of Sociology and Public Policy at Princeton University, and a member of the U.S. Partnership on Mobility from Poverty convened and Funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
Dr. Edin was the featured guest at a President’s Roundtable, hosted by All Stars Project President and CEO, Gabrielle L. Kurlander in October 2017.
Edin shared her Observations about ASP’s approach and New Research which indicates that Mobility from Poverty is more effectively achieved through Programs that provide Young People with Meaning and Inspiration.
Edin and Kurlander were joined at the Roundtable by All Stars Project Co-Founder, Lenora Fulani, Ph.D. and All Stars Project VP for Afterschool Development Research & Policy, Bonny Gildin, Ph.D.
This Special Video Report is an important Conversation about New Strategies for Engaging Poverty and how the All Stars Afterschool Development approach is being recognized as an Exemplar in this Arena.
