The New York, Manhattan Board of Elections BOE) Commissioner who was caught in an undercover video alleging that the City’s Municipal-ID program is contributing to Voter Fraud is leaving his post under fire.

Alan Schulkin, the Democrat representing Manhattan at the BOE, was told by Party leaders that he won’t be reappointed to another four-year term when his current term expires on Dec. 31.

Mayor de Blasio and other Democrat officials called for his resignation after Schulkin was caught on tape by the Conservative group Project Veritas saying, “Certain neighborhoods in particular, they bus people around to vote. They put them in a bus and go poll site to poll site.”

Asked if he meant black and Hispanic neighborhoods, he nodded, “Yeah, and Chinese, too.”

Manhattan Democratic District leaders are having an emergency meeting Sunday to recommend a replacement, and the Borough’s Democratic Chairman, Harlem Assemblyman Keith Wright, has been lobbying for one of his Senior Staffers, Jeanine Johnson, the sources said.

Any selection would have to be ratified by the City Council’s Democratic Caucus.

Johnson ran into legal trouble last year, when she copped a plea to drunken driving after blowing a .113 on a Breathalyzer. The legal limit is .08.
